1989-1994  National Chiao Tung University, Institute of Electronics , PhD

1994-1999 Taiwan Laboratory of Nanodevices ,Associate Researcher

Dingzhang Zhang is a distinguished professor at National Sun Yat-sen University, Taiwan, in charge of the laboratory of Semiconductor Nanodevices and thin-film transistor flat panel display. As a correspondent author, Prof. Zhang has over 300 academic publications on world-renowned journals and over 200 patents. He has a long established partnership with industry actors as the person in charge of several major research projects collaborated with Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC), AU Optronics Corp., Innolux Corporation, Chimei Innolux, United Microelectronics Corporation (UMC). In recent years, he is rewarded with the 4th National Industrial Innovation Prize from Taiwan Ministry of Economy, The 8th Nano-industry Elite Prize, the Outstanding Engineering Professor Award from China Institute of Engineers, University-Industry Research Award and many other major awards.

1. Research on Resistive Random Access Memory (RRAM)

2. Field-effect transistor components: the development of 14~65nm field-effect transistor devices, research on critical technologies and mechanisms

3. Thin-film transistor components: the physical characteristics of thin-film components conditioned by various materials, the development of high energy-efficient thin-film transistor displayer components
